Each year the tournament gets bigger and better.
This is a quick post to share some of the images that were taken during the tournament.
We would like to thank all of the volunteers and competitors for your support and your help making this event one of the most anticipated events in the Jiu Jitsu community. We couldn’t do it without you.
First up was Walter and Brandon:
Walter and Brandon squared off and fought for their grips. Each grip. With less than two minutes left on the clock, Walter took the fight to the mats.
Immediately Walter worked the half-guard for the sweep.
Next up Brain Johnson and Jeff Macatangay:
The energy level was really high in this match.
Brian pulls guard.
There was a quick scramble where both got to their feet. Again Brian pulled guard but this time Jeff stood up.
While Jeff stood up Brian wrapped him up.
Eventually, the fight was brought back to the mat.
The two super fights were amazing to watch. Not only because of their skill, but in how they represent their gyms and the Jiu Jitsu life as well. Much Respect to all the competitors!
